A Visit from the Easter Bunny

Yeahh!!... So, the Easter Bunny came over this morning to enjoy some blueberries and  chamomile tea for breakfast... He introduced his new girlfriend and talked about his endless To-Do list for the upcoming celebration... Baskets, colored eggs, jelly beans, chocolates, his burrow is jam-packed with Easter goodies. Feeling a little overwhelmed, he just needed a break, a stop somewhere to have a bite and a little fun with his girl, laying next to each other, looking at the ceiling, saying nothing, giggling over and over again...

Wait a second!! That never happened... or did it?? Of course, it didn't. But, taking pictures of these two adorable bunnies, memories of past Easters came to my mind, times in which I recorded interviews with my daughters about the Easter Bunny and his life. Have you ever done that with your children? If you haven't, do it now, before it is too late. It's fascinating to listen to your little creatures come up with the most amazing stories and details about where the Easter Bunny lives, what he wears, his furniture, who helps him put the baskets together, how he gets to your house and why nobody has ever seen him...

Oscar de la Renta: Bringing High-End Fashion to Stylish Kids

The week just started, the to-do list is being reorganized,  the calendar is getting a quick check and suddenly... chaos!! ...Where have your mind been? ...Easter is really around the corner, just two weeks away, and the only thing you have ready for the celebration is a plastic bag in your pantry, full of jelly beans and chocolate bunnies from last year... Disastrous!!

LaLa Shoes: The Ultimate Felt Shoe for Little Fashionistas

I must confess my obsession with shoes over the years has gone through some kind of  metamorphosis, and like an octopus, I have developed many grasping tentacles and multiple eyes focusing exclusively on shoes. Heels, wedges, boots, flats, pumps, I love them all, but since motherhood became part of my life, a new category started to develop. Spring, Welcome!!

Spring is finally here!! ...and that makes us very happy. A season of celebrations and many occasions to gather with friends and family. A season to enjoy the outdoors with the kids, and celebrate life and its miraculous revival, all around us... A season of flowers, birds, long sunny days and cool nights... Pot of Gold Somewhere: Rainbow Inspired Toys

Have you noticed yet? Days are getting longer, the sky is bluer, the sun is warmer... No, nooo, we are not talking about the massive solar storm hitting Earth today. We are talking about spring and all of its anticipation. The stores, the internet, everywhere I turn around, I see a preparation for a color explosion, and "rainbows" seem to be very trendy for kids these days... Hair bows, girls' jewelry, clothing, party decorations, toys and even cupcakes are showing up with a renovated image of the multicolored arc, not boring, not predictable, but fun, like in fact, there is a pot of gold somewhere...
